In 2019 royal salute re-branded their 21-year-old whisky with a bold new design, while keeping their original blend. We were asked to assist in taking their vision for 'The Signature Blend' into the retail environment..

The beautiful illustrations that Royal Salute had produced were used as a key starting point. We developed a material palette which would reflect the new bold direction.

We developed a new three-dimensional look for the global travel retail sector with a suite of fixtures, from small glorifiers to entire activation spaces. This particular space was set up in Incheon airport in South Korea and included an interactive space for customers to experience the brand and have a unique photo opportunity.

As the Royal Salute brand has such a strong identity, we were asked to develop a design toolkit that could be used by local markets to roll out this new look. The toolkit acts as a brand guideline that helps keep consistency across the Royal Salute portfolio. This is a important part of any global campaign and we have developed a great method to help brands implement new designs.
